NAC Impact Makers: Empowering Youth Through Sports
NAC Impact Makers offers young people between the ages of 16 and 30 the opportunity to discover their talents, do something for others, and meet new people in and around the Rat Verlegh Stadium.
NAC Impact Makers is a unique sports-based Social Civic Service (MDT) project in collaboration with fourteen other professional football clubs from the Eredivisie and Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Over sixteen weeks, participants will explore their talents through sports and workshops, contribute to the Breda community, and connect with various companies in NAC Breda’s network. Participants will ultimately be rewarded with an MDT certificate, which is a valuable addition to their resume.
During the program, participants will meet once a week at the Rat Verlegh Stadium, engage in sports under the guidance of sports instructors, and attend relevant workshops provided by our partners. The program is largely tailored to the current group of participants’ needs.
What is MDT? Maatschappelijke Diensttijd (MDT) aims to provide all young people in the Netherlands with the opportunity to discover their talents, do something for others, and meet new people through an MDT project. This not only strengthens young people but also benefits society as a whole. MDT is based on the vision that a broad societal orientation for young people contributes to the formation of critical and engaged citizens.
