NAC Breda financially empowers children and young people
From Monday, March 28 to Friday, April 1, 2022, the eleventh edition of The Week of Money is scheduled, an initiative of Wize with Money.
Under the motto ‘Catch them young’, the platform wants to prepare children and young people for financial empowerment in the future. The municipality of Breda and NAC Maatschappelijk are working together with NAC Breda again this year to organize an unforgettable scavenger hunt through NAC Breda’s ”Rat Verlegh Stadium”!
The scavenger hunt is intended for all participating elementary schools of the NAC Community Champions League. During this project, the City of Breda and IMW Breda are providing the Hero with Money workshop. Nineteen elementary school are involved. A total of forty classes can participate.
In this Wize With Money Week, an unforgettable scavenger hunt is planned for the participating schools. During the scavenger hunt, the children and supervisors will be asked questions about money matters. They carry out various assignments and in doing so score points. These points can be exchanged for goodies at the end. The aim of these activities is to make participants aware of money matters and to stimulate financial skills, both at school and at home.
On Monday morning, 28 March, Money Week will kick off with a smashing opening in the Cordial, a hospitality area in the main building of the Rat Verlegh Stadium. Influencer Thomas van Grinsven and alderman for youth, education and culture Marianne de Bie will be present. After the opening, the first elementary school will start the treasure hunt about money matters. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the rest of the elementary school will follow. On Friday, April 1, all participants will get the chance to attend the NAC – Jong Ajax match.
