Municipality Center continued financial support for Football Club Sarajevo
Central Sarajevo Municipality long-standing practice of helping sports clubs that best represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world. On this occasion, Mayor of Center, Bećirević hosted on 13 July 2016, the director of Sarajevo Football Club Dino Selimovic. The visit was the signing of the protocol by which the Municipality of Centar has allocated 20,000 BAM to co-finance the preparation of players FK Sarajevo.
Mayor Becirevic said that the local community for years financially support the work of FK Sarajevo, as well as many other sports clubs, and that this practice will be continued in the future.
I sincerely hope that the donated funds will be used for all players, and in order to achieve the best possible results. Center Municipality has always been with FK Sarajevo. I take this opportunity to the entire collective of the club congratulate the 70th anniversary, said Becirevic
Selimovic expressed his gratitude for their support and understanding which this community has to sports clubs.
Sarajevo Football Club sincerely thanks the Municipality Center and the Mayor of the Municipality Dzevad Becirevic for their continued support. FK Sarajevo as a club which is registered in the municipality center has good sporting results in all categories, from the youngest, ie from the youth teams to the senior team, so the support of the Municipality indeed means a lot, and we hope that the good cooperation will continue in the future. This year’s financial help has a special signifigance because this is the year in which FK Sarajevo celebrates 70 years of its existence. We hope that we will be able to justify their confidence through our sports results, in regards to the Mayor, the Municipal Council and all the employees of the Municipality Center, said Selimovic.
The funds provided for in the Protocol are not the only help that the Municipality Center provides FK Sarajevo. The municipality, in this year’s budget has allocated 50 thousand KM to the Public Institution Center for Sports and Recreation, and this money will be spent at the maintenance of greenery in the stadium Asim Ferhatović Hase where FK Sarajevo plays home games.
