#Morethanfootball Action Weeks Webinar

The 2022 #Morethanfootball Action Weeks start on the 21st of March and run until the 14th of April. The preparation webinar is scheduled for the 1st of March, 11am – 12noon (CET).

The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks are an EFDN initiative and the biggest campaign on community and social responsibility in European football. Previously, more than 120 football organisations from 30 countries participated, and together we have reached more than 40 million people online and created more than 67 million impressions on social media. To reach as many people as possible and tell all of Europe about our members’ CSR/ESG activities, show how their staff, volunteers and participants made the best of the COVIC-19 restrictions and how they came together for their communities, we offer a webinar for all interested organisations. The aim of the webinar is to inform all interested organisations on the campaign, social media challenges, and available resources and explain how they can promote their activities during these weeks and especially on the dedicated Action Days.

Clubs, leagues and FA’s can register for the webinar here.

EFDN members will be encouraged during the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks to apply for the More than Football Award. The goal of the More than Football Award is to honour the best social initiatives in Europe delivered by a European club, league or FA by celebrating the work they do on and off-pitch on a local, national and international levels. The winner receives not only recognition for having implemented the most innovative and impactful Community and Social Responsibility programme in European football, but also wins a complete branded Mini-Pitch System modular sports solution which will be developed in partnership between the winning organisation, EFDN and sponsor Musco Lighting.

Big Hearts Community Trust won the More than Football Award in 2021. The winner of the 2022 edition will be announced during the 18th EFDN Conference which will take place from 14 till 16 November 2022 in Budapest, Hungary.
