More Than Football Award 2024 Longlist: MKS Puszcza Niepołomice – We care about the Forest
The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) is proud to present the MKS Puszcza Niepołomice – We care about the Forest project, which has been selected for the longlist of the More Than Football Award 2024.
The “We care about the Forest” project is an initiative in which the club, in collaboration with the Niepołomice Forest District, organizes campaigns aimed at protecting the natural environment of the Niepołomice Forest. The club’s name itself – “Puszcza”, translates to “Forest” in English, which truly reflects the objective.
The project, involving the club, players, academy, and local community, also includes regular tree planting and forest cleaning initiatives.
The entire club’s family participated in the tree planting action – the first team players led by the coach, the U15 team from our Academy, club employees, and fans along with representatives of the Puszcza23 Association
Main project objectives
