MKS Puszcza Niepołomice and its symbolic exchange of oak seedlings before the first whistle of the game
Last Sunday, before the first whistle of the game, captains of MKS Puszcza Niepołomice and Warta Poznań S.A., besides the usual exchange of pennants, have symbolically exchanged oak seedlings. The special initiative showcases values and emphasises the commitment of both clubs regarding the environmental protection and forest planting.
“We are full of admiration for the work which Warta Poznań is doing for sustainable development in football. We take inspiration and at the same time we follow our own path, wanting to do as much good as possible for our local community. The name of our club sets the path. We want Puszcza to be club that unites and bring all people of Niepołomice together, and at the same time club which promotes caring for the natural values of the region.”
Marek Bartoszek, President of the Management Board of Niepołomicki Sport S.A.
“Matches like this are a great opportunity to come out with a clear message that sport can have a lot of potential to realise changes in thinking and help with the attitude creation. We show that clubs can work together and find common ground to implement good practice. In such activities, we all win.”
