Member clubs support Time to Talk Day 2020
With 1 in 4 of us experiencing a mental health problem, Time to Talk Day was created to provide an opportunity for you and your organisation to add to the wider conversation of mental health.
Time To Talk Day- Thursday 6 February is #TimeToTalk Day which is a campaign that was created to encourage people to start conversations about mental health, including to raise awareness of mental health and to understand the myths and barriers associated with mental health in order to know how we can break them down and put an end to people feeling isolated, worthless and all of the feelings and emotions those experiencing a mental health problem may have.
The #TimeToTalk initiative provides you and your organisation with the chance to add to the wider conversation throughout social media, television and anywhere else possible. It gives people the chance to highlight the work they’re already doing to address the mental health stigma in the workplace, and it gives people an opportunity to introduce new and targeted activities related to the concept of #TimeToTalk.
Some of our member clubs from the UK raised awareness for #TimeToTalk:
