Mark Anderson – Speaker at the 22nd EFDN Conference

Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust‘s Operations Manager, Mark Anderson, will share his experiences and insights on community engagement the next 20th of November at the 22nd EFDN MoreThanFootball Conference in Leuven, Belgium.

With a career that began as a professional goalkeeper in Scotland and progressed through coaching and social care roles, Mark brings a unique perspective on football’s power to impact communities. Mark joined Aberdeen FC Community Trust in January this year and has been crucial in driving initiatives that connect the club with the local community. His dedication to pursue a positive environment for fans and families aligns with the Trust’s mission of making a difference through football.

Reflecting on his time with Aberdeen FC Community Trust, Mark highlights a recent event as particularly meaningful: the Picnic at Pittodrie.” This initiative, held at the club’s stadium, allowed local families to come together for a day of fun activities on the pitch. “Seeing families with smiles on their faces and on the pitch, enjoying themselves, was an incredible moment for all the Dons Families,” Mark shares.
