LFC Foundation launches the “This Means More Challenge Weekend”

From Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6 LFC Foundation ask their fans to take part in the “This Means More Challenge Weekend” and make their part in helping the most vulnerable.

Liverpool FC is undeniably one of the most popular clubs globally. With more than 300 official fan clubs all over the world, the Club visibility does not know boundaries and its Foundation wants to make the most out of this. With this in mind, they have launched the “This Means More Challenge Weekend”.

On the first weekend of September, Liverpool’s supporters will have the chance to take part in a series of fun activities, while at the same time contributing to a good cause. Each Official Liverpool Supporters Clubs (OLSCs) will be able to participate with groups of up to 15 fans. Moreover, as part of the initiative, fans are also given the opportunity to make a donation to support their local foodbank provision.

Additionally, by uploading photos and video of their activities on the dedicated portal, the OLSCs will participate in a competition, then other than awarding Liverpool’s memorabilia, will give them the chance to have a live video call with Jürgen Klopp and have their branch flag and crest on display at Anfield during next season.

“We are really excited to launch this new initiative, which will be sure to make a huge impact to communities not only locally, but on a global scale. For communities far and wide, the past few months have proven very difficult as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. It is hoped that with this initiative, we can unite with our global fanbase to come together, have fun and help support those affected communities.” said Matt Parish, LFC Foundation director.
