Legia has delivered more than 32,000 meals across Poland
The Legia Warsaw #Gotowidopomocy campaign keeps going on. The club and its foundation are delivering meals and assistance across Poland, with the help of some important partners.
#Gotowidopomocy, the campaign promoted by Legia Warsaw, still goes on strong after the launch weeks ago. In the last month, 32 000 meals were delivered and over 35 000 kilometers were traveled across Poland to help elderly citizens in need.
The success of the campaign is also a result of the collaboration between the Warsaw Club and many partners. Among them, the Polish pharmaceutical company Adamed, that has donated hand sanitizer and meals, which have been distributed by the scouts of the Polish Scouting Association.
Other partners that took part in the #Gotowidopomocy campaign were the Koźmiński University and Adidas, which both prepared gift bags and helped to distribute meals and hygiene products.
The recipients of this initiative include participants of the Warsaw Uprising and members of the Home Army, but also anonymous people, forgotten by their family, who can hardly get to the door and pick up the meal that the club is offering.
