Knowledge session of the third MDT Community Champions project at Vitesse

On February 7, 2024, the clubs from the third edition of the MDT Community Champions gathered at GelreDome in Arnhem for a knowledge session that proved to be both enlightening and enjoyable. The event was meant for the exchange of experiences and insights among the different clubs. Eredivisie hosted this event to make sure that MDT third project will be as successful as previous MDT programmes.

Two standout presentations came from Willem II and FC Emmen, who shared their experiences and activities from past MDT programs. Their insights offered practical examples for the new clubs to learn from.

EFDN’s primary role is to support the Eredivisie and guide clubs regarding financial accountability.

The MDT programme aims to provide all young people in the Netherlands with the opportunity to discover their talents, contribute to others through an MDT project, and meet new people. This not only strengthens the youth but also benefits society as a whole. MDT is based on the vision that a broad, societal orientation for young people contributes to the development of critical and engaged citizens.
