Humanism for the refugees

The first social action of “Humanism for the refugees” is completed by AEK Athens family. The first team bus as well as the youth academy bus departed after training from AEK Training Centre with  the president of the club, Evangelos Aslanidis and the Executive Director, Dusan Bajevic  heading to the warehouse Management Center and species supply essentials to the Refugees of South area of Attica Region.

AEK FC Legends

AEK legends were present for this first activity Kostas Nestoridis, Mimis Papaioannou, Stelios Serafidis , Giorgos Kefalidis and Thomas Mavros, while the first team was represented by Petros Madalos, Christos Aravidis, Helder Barbosa and Jakob Johansson, while four young players represented the AEK Academy.
AEK people were guided by Mr. Christos Kapatais of the South area of Attica Region, to the land area of 4,000 sq.m. which is centre of storage of  all essential supplies for the refugees (and there is a distribution to the relocation centers) and then all AEK footballers symbolically helped to transport  all  the items that were gathered earlier at Spata.
AEK Athens offered wheelchairs for which there is a great lack in cooperation with MEDICIN, packaged snacks, antiseptic liquid, analgesics and specific medicines, children’s food supplements and vitamins from BIONAT, juices, in collaboration with LOUX and mineral water in cooperation with DIOS.
Social Actions for Refugees will continue in the coming weeks in refugee resettlement centers with pre cooked meal
