Barça Foundation and Rakuten pledge for a better future by bringing SDGs to fans
FC Barcelona’s Main Global Partner Rakuten has teamed up with the Barça Foundation to launch the “Goals Beyond the Game” campaign, allowing fans to pledge for a better future. With this initiative both parties championing the Sustainable Development Goals and asking FC Barcelona fans to do the same.
By making a pledge to one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) created by the United Nations, fans will get a chance to be part of the upcoming match between FC Barcelona and Real Sociedad on May 20 – the last match of the season.
”Goals Beyond the Game” – a commitment to a brighter future
Fans are able to pledge for a better future by simply visit the programme page and tell the Barça Foundation and Rakuten what action they are committed to take, in line with one of the 17 SDGs, to make the future a brighter one. They can also choose to nominate their child as a Young Ambassador to walk out with the players onto the pitch.
The best pledges received by the Barça Foundation & Rakuten will be collected and displayed at Camp Nou during the match. More specially, 11 lucky children will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to accompany the players onto the pitch before the match starts. Each child will represent a Sustainable Development Goal. Travel and accommodation are included for both child and parent, assuring an incredible adventure ahead with unforgettable experience.
