GNK Dinamo Foundation joins Real Betis Foundation on the Forever Green Project
On the day of the UEFA Europa Conference League Play-off between the two clubs, Nema predaje Foundation, delegation of Dinamo, joined Real Betis in promoting environmental sustainability and recycling culture, highlighting the “Forever Green” initiative.
During the whole week, Dinamo and its Foundation “Nema Predaje”, organised various activities in the name of environmental sustainability, with the help and collaboration of Real Betis Foundation.
Among them, representatives from the Betis Foundation introduced the young players of Dinamo’s U-17 team to the “Forever Green” initiative. With a lecture the day before the match, they informed them about the fight against climate change.
Moreover, Rafael Gordillo, president of the Real Betis Balompié Foundation, and Ivan Kelava, a member of the “Nema predaje” Foundation’s Executive Board, symbolically planted two trees in Maksimir Park.
The encounter between GNK Dinamo and Real Betis, mark the beginning of the club’s active participation in the battle for environmental protection and the prevention of climate change, mainly through the elimination of single-use plastics. As a start of Dinamo’s efforts, all the fans in the south stand used returnable packaging in the following match.
