Foundation of Light to host free Community Fun Day
As part of the Summer at the Beacon programme, the English club will be hosting a FREE Community Fun Day at the Beacon of Light.
On Thursday 11 August, families will be entertained at the home of the Foundation of Light as the ever-popular community fun day returns to Wearside. If last year’s edition was anything to go by, the English club is expecting the local community to turn out in the droves and with an exciting schedule planned, the residents of Sunderland are in for an experience to remember.
With a comprehensive range of sporting activities on offer such as football, dodgeball and table tennis, Foundation of Light will also be hosting cooking activities as well as activities for those with a disability. To bring the community together even further, children and families alike will have the opportunity to take on the club’s coaches in a variety of activities.

Two big black cats will also be in attendance; however, the good news doesn’t stop there. Food and drink will be available on the day therefore all the guests will have loads of fun. The event will start at 10am and finish at 3pm.
