Ferencvarosi TC organised Community Champions League workshops
Following the success of the Fradi School Programme and Fradi Sports lessons, Ferencvárosi Torna Club launched the Fradi School League, which is a football championship between schools and amateur sports clubs in Ferencváros.
The project in Hungary is part of EFDN’s Pan-European programme ‘Community Champions League’. Fradi School League is not a traditional tournament, as not only the performance during the games decides which school or team will be the champion at the end of the season. This is a mixed league that is not only decided on the pitch, but many extra points can be gained which promote fair play and moral education. For more on the Fradi School League click here.

COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
The Community Champions League is a social street football competition organised locally in nine cities in eight different European countries, where the participating teams can win more points through Fair-Play, Fair Support and Volunteering in community activities than by winning their street football matches.
With the aim of promoting social integration through sport, the Community Champions League provides the opportunity for people from different cultures to come together to build relationships and friendships while breaking down barriers through the prevention of violence, racism and intolerance in grassroots sports and their communities.
Including the Fradi School League in Hungary, the EFDN Community Champions League project is in partnership with nine community-engaged football clubs from the Netherlands, England, Scotland, Norway, Portugal, Belgium and Germany. NAC Breda, Feyenoord, Aberdeen FC, Chelsea FC, Club Brugge, SV Werder Bremen, Vålerenga Fotball, Ferencvarosi TC and SL Benfica are the clubs currently carrying out the Community Champions League project.
