FC Emmen Street League Kicks Off
As planned, on the 27th of February the FC Emmen Street League kicked off at six locations simultaneously in the municipality of Emmen. The session provided to children from 6 to 8 years old was a nice combination of football and social involvement.
During the first activity, the children learned some football skills while the coaches explained the purpose of the FC Emmen Street League and how it works. They were also invited to take part in a FC Emmen football quiz with the winners receiving a FC Emmen-scarf.
After that, the children put all their efforts into cleaning up the local neighbourhoods: collecting waste and any various other tasks. Football would not be missing for long with another football training session taking place in a fun environment, enabling the children to participate in an interactive workshop about the importance of eating healthy food and having an active lifestyle.
