Everton in the Community’s Primary Stars Students Take on ‘Clean Air Quest’

Participants of Everton in the Community‘s Premier League Primary Stars programme took a trip to Goodison Park to take part in the ‘Clean Air Quest’ challenge. Young people from different primary schools took part in a series of educational activities and workshops, helping to raise awareness on the importance of creating a healthier and more sustainable environment.

The students came up with a variety of innovative ideas in which they can help protect the planet, such as using alternative local car parks to prevent cars idling outside of their school and creating designated bike/walk to school days.

The young people were also tasked with designing and creating educational banners which will be displayed around their school and will also present their findings to other peers during assembly.

Everton in the Community’s Social Action Lead Stacey McMahon explained the positive outcomes from the days event. “It was inspiring to witness so many young people who are deeply passionate about the environment.

“Their dedication was evident in the time and effort they put into their projects, from conducting research and creating resources to the enthusiasm they exhibited while presenting their ideas to the judges.”
