Espen Lindmark (Stabæk Fotball) and Hedda Bie (Norwegian Football Foundation), present in Breda
Espen Lindmark, Project Manager at Stabæk Fotball and Hedda Bie, Managing Director at The Norwegian Football Foundation, will be presenting at the 14th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Breda, The Netherlands.
Espen Lindmark has worked at Stabæk Fotball for 10 years now. Before joining football full time, he worked for over 20 years in finance and marketing companies. He established Stabæk Street Team as club no. 2 in Norway in 2012 and has been the Manager of the project ever since the start. He was one of the initiators and the co-establisher of The Football Foundation in Norway in 2015, leading the Board for the first period. Also, he was a former football coach from 1976 to 2010 for both women and men’s teams on different levels, before joining the administration.
For almost two decades, Hedda Bie has worked on public health issues in the public sector, in Norway and in the World Health Organization, before she joined the Football Foundation in Norway as a CEO in 2018. She holds a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. The Football Foundation is an umbrella organization for Street Soccer Teams in 22 Norwegian football clubs in the first and second division. The Street Soccer Programs support people with drug addiction to have a better life with less drug abuse.
Espen and Hedda will be presenting about recovery on the Pitch using the Norwegian Street Football Programme, on the topic of inclusion of vulnerable groups through the Street Soccer Programs. The presentation will cover the content of the program, with emphasis on the importance of the integration of the teams in the clubs and the opportunity the clubs represent as a training course not only for football but life and working skills for people with drug addiction.
