EFDN Highlights: May 2020

As 2020 comes to an end, EFDN invites you to look back on this year’s top activities, projects and news stories. Take a look at some highlights from May.

STEP4Youth Virtual Meetings

In May, EFDN participated in weekly virtual meetings with STEP4Youth project coordinator Barça Foundation and other partners from Denmark, Greece and Italy. The pan-European programme aims to design, test and evaluate sport-based intervention to improve employability knowledge, skills and networks amongst refugee and migrant youth communities in Europe. During the meetings, partners analysed the success of initiatives around Europe to integrate refugees and migrants in the workforce, drawing inspiration from and building upon these projects to further develop STEP4Youth.

International Missing Children’s Day

The 25th of May is considered the International Missing Children’s Day. Every year, football clubs join forces with the International Center for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC) to spread awareness on the issue through #FootballCares. See how EFDN partners and members honoured those we’ve lost and celebrated those we’ve recovered here.

EFDN Interviews

In May, we heard from four CSR experts as part of the EFDN Interview series.
