EFDN Highlights: January 2022
As 2022 comes to an end, EFDN invites you to look back on this year’s top activities, projects and news stories. Take a look at some highlights from January.
On January 2022 we were presented with multiple impact reports from our members. This allowed us to see first hand the actual impact the members have on their respective communities.
Annual Report 2020/2021 Feyenoord Foundation
“Deeds, not words” is the motto of Feyenoord. The Foundation of the club puts those deeds into practice every day by using the #KrachtvanFeyenoord. Thanks to the Feyenoord Foundation, Feyenoord Rotterdam can help people who need help and thus make the city and society stronger. These social activities are not always visible to the outside world.
That is why the foundation put its actions into words in this annual report. In this document, they provide insight into their activities and the results they have achieved in the 2020-2021 season. A season that was almost entirely influenced by the corona pandemic. As in the previous season, it brought limitations and challenges. The foundation did not let that stop them. They mainly looked at what they could do and had the goal to make as much positive impact as possible. Deeds, not words, in other words.

Annual Report 2020/2021 LFC Foundation
The Reds official charity, LFC Foundation, and its dedicated local community programme, Red Neighbours, has revealed the huge impact its work is having in local communities across the Liverpool City Region.
The report estimates that LFC Foundation has worked with over 50,000 people and contributed a value of £23.41m to the Liverpool City Region in a 12-month period, which equates to a social return on investment of over £15 for every £1 invested. The charity also engaged with a high number of people with disabilities as well as participants from ethnically diverse backgrounds, more than is typical for the Liverpool City Region. The work has been more important than ever during the past 18 months, with communities across the region experiencing unprecedented and difficult times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
