EFDN appoints four new board members
At the last General Assembly in Paris, Ton Strooband was re-elected as chair of the Management Board. Wim Beelaert changed his position in the board from treasurer to secretary and the General Assembly also appointed four new board members. The four new board members are Phill Duffy, Bálint Máté, Jan Ryrlén and Peter Davidson.
EFDN Board members are appointed based on their extensive knowledge and rich experience in CSR-related work within their clubs, and their passion and enthusiasm to work together on a European level to enhance the social impact of football.
”As a representative of one of the most popular multisport clubs and the first Central-Eastern European club that joined EFDN in 2015, I am delighted to force the CSR-development of the Clubs from my region at EFDN. My presence in the Board is a great opportunity to me and to EFDN as well to set up the right approach and strategy to involve Central-Eastern European clubs into valuable community –building projects. Moreover, to develop these clubs CSR-activities and to bring values and change lives of people in our region by these clubs.” – Bálint Máté.
