Dundee FC in the Community Trust launches a new employability programme
Dundee FC in the Community Trust announced their project ‘Your Dee Future’ which is an introduction to the employability programmes being offered by Dundee City Council and the Job Centre.
The programme which is funded by Dundee City Council and supported by many partners across the City will start in early 2020. It’s aimed at men over the age of 25 who are unemployed and living in Dundee. Along with a workshop, participants will also enjoy the sports and well-being part of the project supported by the Trust’s community coaches.
This project is being supported by many partners including; Coldside Adult learning team, Coldside Medical Practice, Community Police, Dundee & Angus College, Fire and Rescue Service, Job Centre, TCA, Wellbeing Works etc.
-The programme will run for 8 weeks, for men who are in long term unemployment (4 weeks or more) and 25years of age or over.
-The venue is Dens Park Stadium and sports a facility within the City.
-Participants will complete ‘two halves’, first half 45min educational workshop with our partners and the second half will be a game of football with a DFC Community coach.

We are grateful to Dundee City Council for providing the grant to fund this programme which will last for 8weeks and to our partners who will deliver the workshops, working together we are providing for our community.”
