Dream Day at Rangers FC

A group of Rangers fans in need of a boost owing to a life-limiting illness, long-term disability or recent difficult experience had a day to remember at Ibrox and Murray Park as part of the Rangers Charity Foundation’s ‘Dream Day.’

Dream Days are run twice every season at the invitation of the Manager and guests enjoy a look behind the scenes at both Ibrox and the training ground as well as meeting their heroes and collecting autographs.

The day started with a visit to the training ground where the entire first team squad as well as Mark Warburton and David Weir were on hand to chat, pose for photographs and sign autographs. The group then watched the players go through their paces on the training pitches before taking a tour of the facility. The Dream Day continued with lunch in the Members Club at Ibrox and a tour around the famous Stadium and Trophy Room.

Kirk Bullen who attended the Dream Day commented, “I just wanted to thank you, it was by far the best day of my life. I will never forget it. To meet the players, manager, and staff was unbelievable. And what the Rangers Charity Foundation do, it’s just amazing. You made everyone there feel special.” Daven Milne, aged 6, added, “I had an amazing day. My favourite part was meeting the players and management.  I got my jersey and football signed.  I also got Martin Waghorn’s signed boots.  That was amazing.  Thanks Waggie!” William Collison said, “I was a little star struck, but meeting all the players was a dream come true. Thank you Rangers Football Club and every single member of staff from top to bottom for making days like this happen for fans.” And 11 year old Jak Parrot added, “My favourite part was watching the players play and kicking the ball to Mark Warburton!”
