Bring ‘Dons Family in Training’ back to Pittodrie, Aberdeen!

Aberdeen FC Community Trust is looking for support from local people in a bid for them to vote for Dons Family in Training to be brought back to Pittodrie Stadium through the Participatory Budgeting scheme.

Dons Family in Training is a parent and child healthy lifestyle project with inputs on healthy eating, the benefits of exercise and how to get more active together as a family. The initiative also challenges inactivity, obesity and child healthy weight, all delivered locally for local people.

With existing partnerships in Seaton, Tillydrone and Woodside, schools and community groups would benefit from activity taking place in their local area as well as families. This project will strive to get the inactive active and get the active more active, with opportunities for education on food and alcohol consumption and signposts to the relevant services. Over 50 families would benefit from weekly workshops and physical exercise through the initial project and volunteer led groups would sustain the activity for the longer term.

To vote for Dons Family in Training follow the guidelines in the link below.
