DEFIBRILLATOR DONATION IN ČAKOVEC

During the fall, the No Surrender Foundation of GNK Dinamo Zagreb donated defibrillators for use at the Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec.

At the request of young Noel Roc, who is a 2nd year student of tourism and sports management at the Polytechnic and who is also a person with a congenital heart defect, the foundation decided to donate an AED / AVD device that is crucial in cardiac arrest and saves someone’s life. Through this donation, the Dinamo Foundation wants to show awareness of the importance of preventing cardiac death, with the help of a defibrillator, which is certainly something that is being worked on in the system of Dinamo as a football club in the context of preventing cardiac death. The value of the donation is 20 thousand kuna.

At the end of 2021, donations were handed over to the Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec, in an area where Dinamo has an extremely large number of fans. On behalf of the Dinamo Foundation, the player of the first team Danijel Štefulj and the commissioners of GNK Dinamo Stane Lazar and Zlatko Premuš were present, while the donation was received by the dean of the faculty doc. dr. sc. Igor Klopotan and student Noel Rok. At the handover, the player Daniel Štefulj handed over the Noel and Dinamo’s jersey as a souvenir.

“I came across the No Surrender Foundation to help with the realization of the idea, and it wasn’t long before Dinamo commissioners and player Daniel Štefulj arrived at the Polytechnic with a donation and a defibrillator. It is a device that can save the lives of people whose heart stops beating. I am glad that the foundation has decided to donate a device that is very important in some possible critical situations. It means a lot to all of us and I sincerely thank you for the donation”

Noel Rok

“We are extremely proud and happy to be here on behalf of the No Surrender Foundation and, as Dinamo commissioners in our Međimurje, to hand over this important device to Noel and the faculty. It is very important that the defibrillator exists at the faculty, that students, professors and staff are educated on how to use it and that we teach others together why it is so important”

Dinamo Commissioner Stane Lazar

They believe that by donating a defibrillator, they raise awareness of the role of such an AED / AVD device in the prevention of cardiac death.
