Come On, Let’s Play!: tournament of FC Shahktar Donetsk in Kurakhove
Around 60 kids took part in the competitions. They divided the kids into two age categories: up to 7 and up to 9 years old.
Football for all
Following all-play-all meetings, the strongest teams met in the finals. In the younger group, Red Dragons appeared luckier than Donbas in the penalty shootout, with Ilya Poyasov, who preserved shutout, being fairly voted as the best goalkeeper.
Interestingly, the top player award was handed to a girl – the Donbas side’s captain Lyubov Kaschei. In total, 5 young female footballers took part in the matches in Kurakhove.

Awards from the club and a contest for parents
In the age category of up to 9 years old, the Laurus side claimed a victory, along with the winner of the best goalkeeper award David Kocharov. In the finals, the kids defeated Molniya. Daniil Proskurin secured the top field player award.
Traditionally, the children received medals and awards from FC Shakhtar, while for parents, a special contest was held.
This autumn, Come On, Let’s Play! tournaments had been already held in Donetsk, Kramatorsk, Severodonetsk, Dobropillya and Kurakhove. In November, the similar competitions will also take place in Lviv.
