Club Brugge Foundation donates 40 laptops to Huis van het Kind Brugge

Since April, there have been calls in Bruges to donate laptops and ICT equipment to Huis van het Kind Brugge to support vulnerable families with school-age children. The Club Brugge Foundation accepted the call and donated 40 laptops so these children can start the new school year without disadvantages, even during times of coronavirus.

“Club Brugge’s slogan is ‘No Sweat / No Glory’, in which we see passion, commitment and hard work as building blocks to achieve success,” says Peter Gheysen, Head of the Club Brugge Foundation. “With our Foundation we also add ‘No Heart / No Glory’ because as a football club we have great social responsibility and find it important to show heart and help each other when the going gets tough. As a result, today we can donate 40 new laptops to Huis van het Kind Brugge. The devices are distributed to the families in consultation with schools and Huis van het Kind Brugge, so that they too can start the new school year with every opportunity. We are very proud of the commitment to our fans.”
