Club Brugge Foundation celebrates 15th anniversary
Last Sunday, 10 April, during the game Club Brugge – KV Mechelen, Club Brugge Foundation, the social department of Club Brugge, celebrated its 15th anniversary. This anniversary was celebrated extensively with the fans through various festivities.
15 YEARS OF FOUNDATION
What was set up in 2007 under the chairmanship of Chairman Michel D’Hooghe as the community project ‘Allemoale Thope’ has now, 15 years later, developed into a structurally anchored and energetic Foundation operation, which provides added value to society on a daily basis, based on the strength and impact of Club Brugge.
Over the past 15 years, Club Brugge has dedicated itself to organising various social activities for the benefit of society, based on its “No Heart/No Glory” message. Through these initiatives, Club aims to be a club where everyone can feel at home and where people are given opportunities. With more than 18 Foundation projects, 120 volunteers, employees, project partners and 300 charities, the Foundation reaches out to countless athletes, supporters, families, etc. on an annual basis. Because the Club is the biggest and warmest football family in the country. With one Blauw-Zwart heart.
LAP OF HONOUR 15 YEARS FOUNDATION
Just before the kick-off of Club Brugge – KV Mechelen, 150 participants and volunteers of various Foundation projects were honoured during a lap of honour around the main pitch to the warm applause of the supporters.
