CAFE conducts survey to understand COVID-19 impact on stadium accessibility
To better understand how the pandemic is impacting stadium accessibility and disabled fans across Europe, our partner CAFE is conducting the COVID-19 impact survey among disabled fans.
EFDN’s partner CAFE, Centre for Access to Football in Europe, launched a COVID-19 impact questionnaire to gain an understanding of what might be the concerns of disabled fans upon the return to the stadiums.
CAFE will share the results of this survey with the UEFA, national associations and football clubs. This resource will help them understand what practical health and safety measures need to be taken so that disabled spectators are able to return to enjoy football in a welcoming and safe environment.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on everybody, but has had a disproportionate effect on disabled people and their everyday lives. CAFE is keen to hear how disabled fans feel about returning to live football, and we want to support clubs and governing bodies in planning for the return of fans to their stadiums” said Amy Wilson, CAFE’s Fan Liaison and Access Officer.
The questionnaire is available in English, French, and German.
CAFE has launched a questionnaire to gain an understanding of the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic and the suspension of live football has had on disabled fans across Europe.
