Busy Job Fair at Sparta Rotterdam
With more than 600 jobseekers and around 70 exhibitors, the September edition of the Job Fair at Sparta Rotterdam again attracted many people to “Het Kasteel”. Foundation De Betrokken Spartaan organised the job fair in cooperation with Werkgevers Servicepunt WGSP, UWV and the Rotterdam municipality for the third consecutive year. During the job fair, employers and jobseekers are brought together, with the aim of helping as many jobseekers as possible find a job.
“You notice that employers find this initiative very important. It is increasingly difficult for companies to find good staff and jobseekers also indicate that the threshold towards a job is quite high. So there is a huge opportunity here and that is why we are happy to be able to bring these parties together.
Jobseekers indicated that they are happy with such initiatives, because it lowers the threshold – which is sometimes still there – towards an interview with a potential employer. We can look back on a great day with many conversations, something we are very happy about. We are already looking forward to another edition of the Job Fair in the future!”
