Brentford FC CST Launches New Programme With Street Soccer

The free five week Street Soccer Academy offers personal development providing a range of football coaching, mindset training and employability workshops.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has partnered with Street Soccer to deliver the Academy programme to local young people.

The Trust’s Trust Street Soccer Academy is a free five-week, 10-session personal development programme providing a combination of football coaching, mindset training and skills and employability workshops.

The programme is open to 17-25 year-olds who are either unemployed, living in sheltered or temporary accommodation or those who just want to positively change their future prospects.

  • Increase your fitness, confidence and self-belief
  • Create a more positive mindset
  • Improve your employability prospects
  • Be in a safe and positive environment
  • Develop and improve key skills such as team work, goal-setting, communication and more!

The first taster session takes place on Tuesday 10 October at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub from 11am – 1pm.

Sessions will then run every from 10.30am – 2.30pm every Tuesday and Thursday at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub starting on Tuesday 17 October through to graduation om Thursday 16 November.

The course cumulates in a 6-side football tournament at the Olympic stadium, home of West Ham United.
