Brentford FC Community Trust launched new fundraising challenge
Our member Brentford FC Community Trust has launched a new fundraising challenge. Supporters can take part in the ‘1889 challenge’ and receive a commemorative Brentford FC cycling jersey.
Get your hands on the new Cycling Jersey inspired by our Farewell Griffin Park kit. All profits will be donated to the Trust, which will help to support key community projects and to develop a new cycling hub at Gunnersbury Park’s new sports facilities.
The smart cycling jerseys are hand tailored in Italy with a dry fabric and full-length zip helping you to stay cool during your rides. Available in men, women and Junior sizes, adult tops cost £75 and Juniors £60. They also have three rear pockets where you can fit most things you’ll require on a long bike ride.
If you’re a budding cyclist, then why not take part in The Trust’s ‘1889 challenge’? It’s designed to raise much-needed funds for our award-winning charity. Cyclists are asked to cycle as many miles as possible between Saturday 1 to Sunday 16 August to reach the collective 1,889 miles – representing the year Brentford FC was founded.
By joining, the Brentford 1889 participants will receive the official shirt when raising a minimum of £250 from sponsors.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and a Strava event link, to help us keep track of the total distance covered.
