Be at Old Trafford for Mourinho’s first match

Jose Mourinho will take to the Manchester United dugout for the first time in his role of manager at Wayne Rooney’s testimonial on 3rd August 2016.

The Foundation is looking forward to the pre-season competitive friendly match at Old Trafford against Everton on Wednesday 3rd August, kick-off 8pm. It promises to be a memorable testimonial night for Wayne Rooney and, of course, Jose Mourinho who will take his seat in the home dugout for the first time.

It’s also a first opportunity to welcome new signings Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Theatre of Dreams in this last warm-up game ahead of the FA Community Shield.

Manchester United Foundation will benefit from the proceeds of the match through the newly-formed Wayne Rooney Foundation, aimed at improving and inspiring the lives of children and young people. Selected alongside three other charities – Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Claire House Children’s Hospice and the NSPCC – Manchester United Foundation will use monies generated to continue its work with young people across Greater Manchester.

Tickets are priced from £25 for adults and just £10 for under 16s. Individual hospitality packages are available from £119 and Executive boxes are also available at £150pp.

Don’t miss out on what is sure to be a memorable occasion – be there to support Wayne Rooney at his testimonial match and to give Jose Mourinho a loud Manchester United welcome.
