Basecamp Run Brings Together 557 Participants
Last Sunday, 27 November, Club Brugge Foundation organised the Basecamp Run. During a unique experiential run around and across Club Brugge’s training complex, all participants had the unique opportunity to discover all zones of the Belfius Basecamp in Westkapelle.
Exceptional 1891 Meter Course
During a mapped out 1891-meter route, fans were able to discover some special places of the ultramodern training complex that are otherwise inaccessible on foot or on foot.
The route took participants past the A-team dressing room, the administration offices, the hotel rooms, the press room, the fitness hall, the coaches’ offices, the indoor hall and, of course, the various practice pitches.
In addition, a lot of entertainment was provided along the course. In the Board Room, the last 3 Champions Cups were displayed, in the indoor hall the running speed was measured, in the fitness hall a DJ was waiting for the runners, outside the slope had to be overcome.

5,000 Euros for Club Brugge Foundation
All proceeds from the event benefited Club Brugge Foundation’s socio-sports projects. Head of Foundation Peter Gheysen looks back with satisfaction.
“Despite the weather conditions, all participants were impressed by the Basecamp. This event raised a nice 5,000 euros for the benefit of Club Brugge Foundation’s projects. Judging by the exclusively positive reactions from the participants, we can only be satisfied.”
