Bas Schreurs (FC Twente) confirmed speaker at EFDN conference

We are excited to announce that Bas Schreurs, Manager at FC Twente Scoren in de wijk will be presenting at our 14th EFDN ‘#Morethanfootball’ Conference in Breda on the 24th & 25th of March. 

Bas Schreurs is an educated professional with experience in Public Administration and Organizational Sciences. Specifically, through his Master’s Degree in Sports Policy and Sports Management (University Utrecht), Managerial role in Professional Football (Dutch Football Association – KNVB) and through his role in Football Social Responsibility at UEFA. Bas has 10 years of work experience in business, government and civil society in relation to sport. Most of his years at FC Twente include experience in the football department, ticketing and social responsibility of the club.

 

‘Vulnerable families supporting each other’

 Bas will be presenting the programme “Support each other” which is an integrated approach: the focus is on families, not individuals. He will be discussing the mix of sport, culture, health, and participation. With this project, FC Twente shows that it opens doors and offers a solution to reduce problems in the region. By listening to people, with less bureaucracy.
