Bank CIC supports FC Basel’s DreamTeam
Bank CIC, the wholly owned subsidiary of Credit Mutuel, has established an agreement with FCB DreamTeam for a contract term of three years beginning from the current 2021/22 season.
FC Basel’s DreamTeam is the Swiss club’s community and social development arm which currently consists of three teams with around 60 players. The DreamTeam was established in spring 1997 with the aim to enable physically and mentally handicapped individuals to play football and enjoy the sport to the fullest.
Bank CIC will be the official sponsors of the community club, thanks to the agreement that was signed on September 9.
“The DreamTeam has a special task that it involves differently talented and capable players in the game of football. It doesn’t matter what you bring, but rather that you do your best.“
Thomas K.Muller, CEO of Bank CIC
According to the DreamTeam’s philosophy, the experience of football as a medium of growth comes before the result.
It was integrated as part of FC Basel on June 9, 2017, before which it was an integral part of Basel-based BSC Old Boys. In 2017, the club 1,500 members immediately accepted the idea of making it a trademark social aspect of the club.
The DreamTeam is taken care of by a coaching staff of around 8 people, who play their part in maintaining the social commitment of the club.
