Athletic Club Foundation’s Pediatrics Project witnesses notable donation to regional hospitals
In a regional partnership with Osakidetza hospitals, the Athletic Club Fundazioa has dispatched diplomas and stickers for children who are currently undergoing medical treatment sessions and interventions.
Osakidetza is the governing body that heads the public healthcare system in the autonomous community of the Basque Country.
As the capital club of the region, based in Bilbao, Athletic Club have long been known to pave the way for social development and integration among the larger community.
The diplomas and stickers are to be used as incentives to encourage positive attitudes in children who undergo treatments, check-ups, blood donations, vaccinations etc. They will be distributed to all health centers in the Bizkaia (Biscay) region through the Osakidetza network.
The initiative is part of the club foundation’s Pediatrics Project.
