Aston Villa proudly support No Room For Racism

Aston Villa is once again proud to show its strong support for No Room For Racism. All Premier League matches between October 7-23 will be dedicated to No Room For Racism, as the League and clubs reiterate their call for supporters to challenge and report discrimination wherever they see it. Players will take the knee ahead of kick-off before each fixture to show their unity against all forms of discrimination.

Matches will also display No Room For Racism messaging as the League and clubs continue their ongoing commitment to tackling discrimination and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of the game.

Aston Villa will proudly display its support for No Room For Racism at Sunday’s Premier League fixture against West Ham United at Villa Park, having done so against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux prior to the international break, while Aston Villa Women continue to take the knee ahead of all matches.

”Football brings together communities and cultures, this diversity makes the game stronger. Football is inclusive for all, it’s everyone’s game.”

With October celebrating Black History Month, the Premier League, EFL and The FA have joined with other football bodies in a unified approach in the fight against discrimination, sending a clear message that racism will not be tolerated at any level of the game.

Fans can now report online discriminatory abuse they see targeted at Premier League players, managers, coaches, match officials and their families directly at www.premierleague.com/reportracismEach report will be investigated by the League’s specialist team.
