Aston Villa Foundation’s staff completed 918 hours training during lockdown
Aston Villa Foundation’s staff took advantage of the lockdown to train and gain knowledge on several subjects.
From safeguarding to mental health, going through domestic abuse. These are just some of the subjects that the 68 members of the Aston Villa Foundation‘s staff have spent 918 hours on. In the last 12 weeks, all of them completed a mental health course gaining a qualification by the end of it, while 32 of them participated in a management and leadership training programme.
Of course, all of this was done while adapting and delivering COVID-19 specific programmes, such as the Villa Kitchen. Through this project, the Foundation collected and distributed more than 8.000 meals to vulnerable people since the beginning of the lockdown.
It's been a busy period for our staff over the last 12 weeks, adapting their delivery and delivering COVID-specific programmes.
We've invested a significant amount of time in training and developing staff across a range of subjects as we move forward and plan for the future ? pic.twitter.com/nQSZZm6T9K
