Apply for a scholarship through Athletic Club Foundation
Our member Athletic Club Foundation is taking applications for a person with a physical disability to attend the training course to be held in Lisbon from October 10-17, 2021.
Athletic Club Foundation is accepting applications for a scholarship so that a person with a physical disability can take the course called Football for All Leadership Programme. It is a course promoted by the Portuguese non-profit organisation Integrated Dreams. The course is specially designed to promote employment, entrepreneurship and networking for people with disabilities in the world of football.
Integrated Dreams collaborates with leading organisations in the world of football (FIFA, UEFA, Center for Access to Football in Europe – CAFE, Johan Cruyff Foundation, the Portuguese Football Federation, Arsenal FC and SL Benfica) and with the main academic entities (Nova SBE and AISTS Lausanne) with experience in social inclusion. The course will take place in Lisbon, from October 10-17, 2021. Following the training programme, there will be a 7-month period implementing a project associated with the Athletic Club Foundation. This will conclude with a Graduation Ceremony at the Emirates Stadium in London in June 2022.
Requirements and deadlines
Applicants must be an adult (18 years old or more), have a certificate proving a physical disability and have advanced knowledge of English.
Likewise, they must send an email to the address i.oleagagoitia@fundacionathleticclub.eus indicating names and surnames, contact telephone number, and explaining the reasons why they would like to take this course. Your social commitment and your personal initiative for participating in a project for the benefit of the community will be valued.
Finally, you must attach a photocopy of the DNI, as well as the certificate of physical disability.
The deadline for submitting applications is 10 September.

Athletic Club Foundation Scholarship
The scholarship includes tuition for the course, roundtrip flight Bilbao / Lisbon, 7 nights accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Lisbon, 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 2 dinners, accessible transportation in Lisbon (airport-hotel-airport and from the hotel to all the places where the classes are given), classes with international speakers (from the collaborating organizations), seven months of tutoring in the development of the local project and support in the search for work in sport by the organization of the course.
