Another record revenue for Pro League Christmas campaign

The Pro League Christmas promotion ended last week. The auction has already reached a new record amount and yields 152,000 in favor of Younited Belgium. An absolute masterpiece is once again the shirt of EFDN member Club Brugge‘s Charles De Ketelaere, which changes hands for 4,000. Most coveted specials are a unique painting by Antwerp striker Michael Frey ( 5,300) and a competition in the footsteps of commentator Peter Vandenbempt ( 1,000).

The traditional auction of all shirts from the Jupiler Pro League and 1B Pro League and various special specials for the benefit of Younited Belgium, social partner of the Pro League, once again resulted in a particularly nice final balance.

“Football supporters instinctively understand what Younited is all about: coming home to a football club. Everyone who bid on a shirt contributed to the success of the Christmas promotion and thereby put a heart to our players. Thank you!”

Bert Ballegeer, Coordinator Younited Belgium

“Thanks to the solidarity of our fans and our partners, we can give the football players and the operation of Younited Belgium a wonderful Christmas gift. The result of the Christmas promotion is a nice confirmation of the strong and lasting partnership between the clubs, Younited Belgium and the Pro League. We would like to express our sincere thanks to our fans and all clubs, partners and employees!”.
