Annual Golf Day Set For August
Everton in the Community will host its annual golf day on Tuesday 30 August at The Mere Golf Resort in Knutsford.
The event offers keen golfers the opportunity to play 18 holes on the beautiful Old Course in picturesque surroundings, whilst supporting the ground-breaking work of the Club’s official charity.
Situated in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, the Championship course holds the reputation as one of the best-maintained and highest quality golf courses in the North of England.
Sponsored by Alpha Business Products, the day will tee off at 1pm with transport available from Goodison Park. You will be welcomed at The Mere with bacon rolls and refreshments upon arrival, before an afternoon of golf.
That will be followed by a team presentation and BBQ before BBC Sport’s Sarah Stone presents an evening of entertainment including a raffle, auction and Q&A with Everton legends.
