ALEFBA at the Toulouse Football Stadium

ALEFPA helps children suffering from health problems such as obesity, respiratory problems… As part of their sport and health project, Toulouse Football Coeur wanted to support this association and opened the doors of the Stadium to 50 children for one day.

As soon as they arrived, the children were able to take advantage of the training of professional players as well as that of the U19s to observe them and encourage them in their preparation. After a few quick exchanges at the end of the session, they then headed to the Training Center to find out about the organization and facilities necessary for the proper functioning of such a structure (weight room, dormitories, living rooms , refectory…). Their budding supporters were then able to enjoy a picnic in Toulouse’s hospitality areas in order to regain their strength and thus fully enjoy the afternoon that awaited them.

Once lunch was over, Eddy ZULIANI, young player from the Training Center belonging to the National group 3, and Selen ALTUNKULAK, striker of their Women’s Division 2 team, respectively their godfather and godmother, came and shared a time of exchange at broken stick around their way of life, their paths, their desires, their dreams and their ambitions.

They then met Marine AIROLDI, nutritionist and dietitian at the Toulouse Football Club, who was able to explain to them her working methods with the different structures of the club (Training Center and professional team) and how she adapts to individuals, but also the sports calendar. Emphasis was placed on the similarities of a rigorous nutritional program between top athletes and children suffering from health problems. A very rich question-and-answer session followed!

The afternoon continued with a complete visit to the Stadium, its hospitality areas, the lawn, the press tribune, the press conference room… To end the day in style, the children of ALEFPA were able to watch the Club’s U17 match against their Balmanese neighbors, before the departure of their bus.
