AEK Athens first Greek team to introduce the sensory room
Starting with the match against ARIS on November 30 -AEK Athens is the first Greek team to create and operate the sensory room at their home matches.
The club is proud to introduce a specially designed sensory room, created to meet the standards of leading international football clubs, for children with cognitive disabilities, neurological conditions, and sensory processing disorders.
This vibrant and welcoming space—filled with colors, photos, and engaging toys—will provide a sense of safety and comfort for children. Over time, the club hopes that this supportive environment will help children feel confident and inspired to eventually enjoy the match from the stadium’s outdoor stands.
The sensory room will continually evolve with the expertise of trained professionals, creating an enjoyable experience where children and their families can attend matches with comfort and joy.
