AEK Athens FC helps stray puppies get adopted

An action with a huge response! AEK Athens FC felt obliged to thank its fans -and not only- for the huge response they showed to the action they undertook for the stray puppies, in cooperation with the non-profit organization “The ghosts of Aspropyrgos”.

The aim of this action was to raise awareness and promote the adoption of stray animals and the results were more than impressive, especially after the very nice scenes on Sunday evening, with the football players coming out on the pitch of the Olympic Stadium holding eight puppies to be adopted in their arms.

The very many applications that have already been submitted through the organization’s Facebook page indicate that it is only a matter of time before all eight puppies are adopted, as they already exceed one hundred and the process will be completed with the final selection, based on the provisions of the current legislation.
The club wants to thank the yellow family for the immediate response!

The club’s support will not stop here, since the symbolism for the eight puppies is only supposed to be the guide for new actions in the direction of the adoption of stray animals that often fall victim to abuse by unscrupulous people.
