ADO Den Haag and partners open Panna Cage
Stichting van het kind (Foundation of the Child), ADO Den Haag and Youz (a Dutch organisation working with people with mental problems) officially opened a panna cage at Dr. van Welylaan. The panna cage was donated to Youz by Foundation of the Child in December 2020. Due to the corona measures, the panna cage could not be officially opened earlier.
The opening ceremony was done by a youngster from Youz, who ceremoniously cut a ribbon. Afterwards, Mohammed Boutaka, Dutch champion panna knock-out, showed during a Panna training session how the game is played.
ADO Den Haag was also present at the opening. The foundation ADO Den Haag in de Maatschappij thinks that it is important to support young people in the field of health and has a unique cooperation with Parnassia Groep for more than 10 years. Various materials were distributed to the young people of Youz to play football, such as balls, gloves, cones and caps.
Clearly impressed, after the official programme the youngsters went to play with Mohammed Boutakain the Panna cage. The youngsters could also shoot penalties with Storky, the mascot of ADO Den Haag.
