Aberdeen FC Community Trust celebrates its two European Awards
On the 22nd of February Aberdeen FC Community Trust will honor the AFCCT Day. This will also be the opportunity to celebrate the recognition received by the UEFA Grassroot Awards, which declared AFCCT the 2019 Best Performing Club in the Community.
On the same occasion, AFCCT will present the new logo, featuring two stars as a nod to the two major European awards that they have received: the before mentioned UEFA Grassroot Award, and the Best Community & Social Responsibility Programme Award from the European Club Association, received in 2017 for the innovative Dementia Friendly Wellbeing initiative which significantly supported those affected by dementia by encouraging and prompting the integration of those diagnosed in local community activities.
Over the next few months, the logo will be used throughout the stadium and online, to highlight the continental recognition that the charity has received.
