Stop, Quit and Be Fit

Looking to kick the habit? Come along to Pittodrie for our stop smoking sessions to help you on your way.

Join in at any time over the 12-week session and receive different techniques on how to stop smoking, as well as taking part in different physical activities delivered by AFCCT.

What’s more, during the programme participants with get a sneak-peak behind the scenes at Pittodrie!

Football Fans in Training

Are you looking to change your lifestyle, lose weight and feel fitter? Football Fans in Training can help you do that right here at Pittodrie!

This health and wellbeing initiative is for men and women aged 35-65 that are keen to lose weight.

FFIT covers healthy eating, portion control, drinking and increasing physical activity through various practical and classroom sessions delivered by AFCCT coaches.

The next block of FFIT sessions start on 30th January for women and 31st January for men, from 6pm-7.30pm.

Walking Football

Still have the drive to play football but don’t fancy the pains and strains that can come with a modern game? Walking Football is the programme for you!

AFCCT coaches deliver weekly walking football sessions in Aberdeen for over 35s, over 65s & women passionate about playing the game. The initiative is a fun, social & friendly approach to the game & is suitable for anyone who cannot manage the impact of a standard game, but still has the drive to stay fit & healthy through football.

Walking football is a growing sport around the country & is ideal for older participants & those aiming to get in better shape. All the rules are the same but no running!

Get Outdoors

Our Dementia Friendly Get Outdoors sessions are an opportunity for over 65s to stay active.

Offering support & opportunity for members of the community over the age of 65, Get Outdoors offers health walks around the city, AFC in the Park and active reminiscence visits to places of interest in & around Aberdeen.

Football Centres

Looking to get the kids out of the house and more involved with sport? Find a weekly football coaching session near you!

This extensive programme offers fun filled football coaching which runs throughout Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire during school term-time. AFCCT also offers weekly goalkeeping specific coaching for boys & girls aged 7 to 16.

Kiltwalk

Once again, we will be calling on the Red Army to Don their tartan and get involved in the year’s Aberdeen Kiltwalk!

The event will take place on Sunday 4th June and we are hoping for even more participants will be out in force to raise money for AFCCT.
