PSV Foundation and Oranje- Rood launch a Walking Hockey Pilot
The PSV Foundation and Eindhoven’s hockey club Oranje-Rood are launching the pilot project- Walking Hockey.
Since a couple of years, the PSV Foundation is successfully delivering Walking Football sessions and the OldStars are well established in Eindhoven. This gained experience, shall now be used to introduce Walking Hockey Sessions at Oranje-Rood.
Walking Hockey
Walking Hockey is a sport meant for the age group sixty years and older and constitutes of weekly training sessions, delivered by a professional coach from Oranje-Rood. Having previous experience in playing hockey is not a requirement. The training sessions are not only a manner to work towards health improvement, but also to establish regular social contacts.
Therefore, each training sessions will start with a cup of tea or coffee and some time to talk about the latest sport news. The 10-week pilot project will start on 10th of May 2017 and costs 60 Euro.
